Standard Pre-Registration is now available! Register before Apr 1st, 2018 to get a discount. While you’re at it, make sure to get a discount on your hotel room with the direct booking link. More information about this year’s venue on the Venue page, hotel room discount ends on May 11th!

For those interested in this year’s training courses, Training Registration opens on March 20th, 2018 after the Call for Trainings has ended.

If you’re interested in speaking or offering training at this year’s event, don’t forget to submit to the Call for Papers or the Call for Training!

LayerOne 2018 will be held at the Pasadena Hilton in Pasadena, CA on May 25-27, 2018. If you’re not attending a training, the effective conference dates are May 26-27, 2018. For those of you flying in, the closest airport is the Hollywood/Burbank (“Bob Hope”) International Airport (BUR).

Our Call for Papers (CFP), Call for Training (CFT), pre-registration, and other announcements are coming soon!

LayerOne 2017 is in a few short days! Get prepared by taking a look at the Schedule to see when your favorite talks and contests are happening. Make sure to browse all of the Contests and Events. There’s plenty at LayerOne to keep you busy!

For those that missed pre-registration, you can still register on-site for both Friday Trainings and the main conference on Saturday and Sunday. Registration opens at 09:00 on all conference days and costs $1600 for training registration, $200 for standard registration. Please note that check-in for standard registration will not start until Saturday morning.

This year’s Saturday Banquet and Party will be a gigantic Game Night! We specifically tasked the “board game sommeliers” of Los Angeles to give us their best-of list. They didn’t disappoint – we have an amazing selection of over 60 games to play! From classic favorites to the newest and craziest, come eat great food and play great games at this year’s LayerOne Saturday Party!

In addition, we’ll also have a number of board game producers and creators on-site to showcase and play-test their newest games! Make sure to show them how hackers roll and break their games while crushing your opponents!
