The Intercept (Hardware CTF)

The Intercept is a hardware Capture the Flag (CTF) event focused on testing your skills in hardware hacking, reverse engineering, networking, programming, anti-tamper technologies, and more! The main contest occurs during LayerOne from 10:00 Saturday to 16:00 Sunday. Recommended team size is 3-5.

This year’s contest includes challenges related to reverse engineering, hardware hacking, and hardware fault injection attacks. Normally we would let you flounder in a sea of your own despair, clutching at 10 point Discord flags, but this year we recommend bringing the following equipment:
- Probes and jumpers
- Oscilloscope
- Logic Analyzer
- Power supply
